How to get started with Snapchat Lenses?
Lenses are immensely popular on Snapchat. They create memorable, interactive moments with augmented reality experiences Snapchatters can play with and send to friends. Lenses are also a powerful way to connect with consumers on a massive scale.
With one tap, you can invite Snapchatters into your world and into your story. Lenses offer not just an impression, but “playtime”— the time Snapchatters spend playing with the interactive Ad you’ve created. This ad format can be used to drive results across all business objectives — from awareness and engagement to consideration and sales lift. There are 3 ways to create a lens.
 Create form scratch
To create awareness for their brand ‘Light & Free’, Danone created from scratch a lens based on the hype of coloring books for grown-ups. It’s a great way to kill the time and explore your creative side. Danone took it up a level! With this lens, you can color your own photos! Danone used the Coloring Filter, which is a Snapchat filter that turns your photos into a black and white sketch. Afterward, you can digitally color your own photos using the different Light & Free pots as “paint buckets”.
 Localize an international lens
In the US, Snap and Samsung created this lens together to support the release of the new Galaxy S21 and show the vlog camera features! With only a few translations, the lens was ready to launch in Belgium as well.
Snapchatters could open their front view camera and find themselves featured in the front cam of Samsung’s ‘Director’s View’ effect. Thanks to 1-of-3 natural settings that were applied to the background of the user and Samsung’s rear cam, the audiences could check out the new Galaxy S21.
